I think that it is X11rdp that does not like 15bpp. If you use Xvnc, it's OK. If this is the case I would rather see 15bpp support get into X11rdp but we can bump them to 16bpp if they try to connect at 15bpp. It should be fairly easy to get this into X11rdp. It needs 24/32 bpp support as well.
