I've been working with Ryan's fork of xrdp, particularity the audio stuff. If anyone has look into it, it's a bit overwhelming. It uses a pulse monitor to get the audio data.
I believe I can simplify the audio part quite a bit by creating a actual 'pulse audio sink' instead if using a pulse sink monitor. Same can be true for the microphone, we can create a 'pulse audio source.' To me this seems like a cleaner design, but the downside is that it will be a bit harder to build. I've actually made quite a bit progress in this already. Any thoughts on the matter?
