Hello xrdp developers,

Some of you might have heard about me in a recent email introduction from
Jay. I am Marc-Andre, and I founded the FreeRDP project with Jay two years
ago. We have recently decided to migrate the xrdp git hosting from the poor
sourceforge.net solution to github which FreeRDP also uses now.

I have created a new xrdp git repository in the FreeRDP github organization,
and created a new "xrdp-developers" group for it. I started by adding Jay to
the group with all rights, but I would need every xrdp developer to:

1) Create a github account if you don't have one already
2) Reply with your github username so that you can be granted permissions

The plan is to wait until all current xrdp developers have an account on
github with the same developer rights preserved for the new git hosting.
Once we are ready to migrate to github completely, an announcement will be
made so that the older sourceforge.net git hosting becomes obsolete.

In the future, we would like to make both FreeRDP and xrdp projects benefit
as much from each other, instead of being two separate communities. For
instance, we have a (growing) wiki that contains valuable information for
FreeRDP and xrdp. There are also FreeRDP sponsors who would potentially be
interested in sponsoring xrdp development as well. There is growing interest
in having a good open source RDP server to go with the FreeRDP client, so we
need to start working towards having better infrastructure to properly
receive those new contributions.

FreeRDP now also has the Atlassian JIRA bug tracker and GreenHopper agile
project planner. xrdp developers are more than welcome to register and use
it for their own project management purposes: www.freerdp.com/jira

Best regards,
- Marc-Andre

P.S.: I know I haven't particularly been involved in xrdp (mostly due to my
involvement in FreeRDP), so some of you might not know me well. Feel free to
ask me questions to get to know me better if you feel like it.
