Is the XRDP project still active or was it merged with another product?
I have been using Puppy Linux for past couple years. This Distro is really
a cover name for several different implementation of a similar build and
desktop.
The individual distro which fall under the cover name, basically are
different by the base for the packages they use....debian...slackware...etc.
They have tools which will take a source and "package" it such that it can
be installed and tracked by their own internal Package Manager as well as
other tools which will take packages gathered from dev/slack/etc and
re-package them similarly for use in that same Package Manager.
*My QUESTION*
You may have noticed that according to DistroWatch this distro (its been
around for 10 years, now) is now the #8 (and rising) distro. What would it
take to "make" your XRDP package available in Puppy Linux? There is a
tremendous talent pool which will rise to the occasion should you want or
need to assist in this direction you have with XRDP.
There is one other factor that MAY be of interest to you. This is a
'Single" userID system. So, some of the issues that arise/have arisen with
XRDP on multi-user systems will be extremely simplified on Puppy.
The forum is here! The Author is here! Its a simple RAM based OS that can
be run as a full system from etiher a DVD/CD.
Would you comment either to me or in the forum if we can help get your
product operational in Puppy Linux. This would provide several thousand
users of your product in a very short period of time. And, this community
will probably "SOLVE" audio and multimedia issues for your product mission.
Thanks for any consideration

To: xrdp-devel@lists.sourceforge.net
1. Does it support audio and video within the session out on the login
client's PC?
1. from Linux to client?
2. from Windows 2003/2008 to client?
2. Does it cupport connections of USB device(s) a client PC might have
before connecting to Linux/Windows server?
3. Will there be any future announcements?
Thanks in advance
