Hi, I have just sent an eMail to you(see appended mesg below), and I did not
mention an important aspect regarding my Ubuntu installation.
.... when I first upgraded to ubuntu 11.10 the local computer desktop GUIs were
unstable, that includes the Unity-2D desktops; Then, I installed/activated the
classic and expanded Gnome desktops, and these also appeared to be unstable
when using the computer. Then, I installed the Xfce desktop (i.e. on the main
computer) and this desktop appears to work quite well on the main computer.

Subject: x11rdp remote user monitor with multiple desktop workspaces.

Hi, my system is:
Pentium 4, 2.8GHz, 2Gig SDRAM
Nvidia GeForce 7300 GT.
Ubuntu 11.10 (..upgraded inplace fromĀ  10.10).
I compiled and installed x11rdp. ( I also installed std. xrdp and Gnome
desktops, but I do not use them ).

I do remote login from a Windows7-RDP. I Select option "Sesn-X11rdp".
The remote desktop and user monitor GUI has a feel as being Unity-2D ... but it
works extremely well: screen shows all the various window management panels and
operation is quite fast and responsive.
Here is my dilemma:
Only one desktop workspace is operational on the remote user monitor.

What do I need to do to enable 2 desktop workspaces ? ( Normally the Ubuntu
desktop standards always have 4 desktop workspaces.)
