I'm not a member of the xrdp "team" as such - I just seem to write a lot
about it ;)
See my article on "xrdp authentication with Active Directory" - the changes
there might work with your Ldap/Kerberos, NIS setup.

Basically, you need to edit the PAM configuration in /etc/pam.d for
xrdp/sesman to take your authentication methodology into account.
