Yes, stop xrdp and xrdp-sesman on the server and start xrdp with /usr/local/sbin/xrdp -ns watch the output and also look at netstat -n -a -t to see if you see any connections on 3389 What config file are you talking about? is it /etc/xrdp/xrdp/ini. If so, try the new one as we've been adding options.
