I've seen this several times in Ubuntu 12.04 LTS, using our beloved Unity interface :)
What will happen is this: You connect and everything seems normal, then, either after authentication or shortly after parts of Gnome unity 2d load, the remote session freezes. Doesn't disconnect, just freezes. When you log into the host box, there is always a message on Xsession :0 about gnome-settings-daemon having crashed. Looking through the Ubuntu bug history, it looks like this particular executable is continually crashing, and being patched, and crashing again, etc. Has anyone else experienced this or seen a work around? I was poking around at it with GDB, but didn't get very far. -Chris -- View this message in context: http://xrdp-devel.766250.n3.nabble.com/XRDP-Devel-Gnome-settings-daemon-crash-interrupting-XRDP-connection-tp4024942.html Sent from the XRDP Devel mailing list archive at Nabble.com. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Master Visual Studio, SharePoint, SQL, ASP.NET, C# 2012, HTML5, CSS, MVC, Windows 8 Apps, JavaScript and much more.
