Hi, I am using xrdp-server from git://github.com/FreeRDP/xrdp.git (self compiled)
with OS opensuse12.3 and xorg-x11-Xvnc (TigerVNC) (compiled by distributor) It works nice with the "old" rdesktop client under Linux. But by using windows(vista and 7)-clients and the xfreerdp-client keyboard problems occur. It starts nice - everything works. But after using key-repeat(eg. cursor keys) the desaster begins. cursor left changes to "D" cursor right changes to "C" cursor up changes to "A" cursor down changes to "B" backspace does not work any more end changes to F pos1 changes to H Sometimes I get back the keyboard to the right behavior by typing ~ or ^. (typically dead keys at the german keyboard layout) Do you have some hints? Is it a Windows-Bug (client)? If yes, can the server work around it?
