v0.7 is "half released". It is considered as released but there is no
official tarball or official version numbering. This makes downstream
packaging difficult. Some are considering that 0.7 is released and apply
the branch to their packages while others (like me, for Debian) are just
waiting for an official release. This brings confusion for everybody, we
don't really know what 0.7 really is.

Jay, any luck to have an official 0.7 release?
