Actually, the window manager should not matter for reconnection. Sesman uses the username, width, height, and bpp to find a session. If any of these don't match any session in the list, a new one is created. Starting with 0.6, X11rdp sessions only use the username to find a session and then resize it to match the client using the RandR X11 extension. You must be using Xvnc for the backend.
