The core part of xrdp(xrdp, libxrdp, libcommon) is very protable and
can run on Windows, Mac, BSD, Solaris, and Linux.
But for Mac and Windows, you can only really use xrdp as a proxy to
other vnc servers or rdp servers.
For example, on a Mac, how do you get multiple quartz desktop running.
If you could develop a drawing source service for xrdp using Mac or
Windows multi desktops that would be a big project.
Also, this has legal issues with both companies.

Apart from that, I think Mac has a VNC server built in so you could
proxy that to an RDP client.
But that is just one user.
