Hello,
I got this email address from www.xrdp.org. Please excuse me if it is
not the best / most appropriate forum. I read an article about using xrdp
to cnnect to a Linux system from a Windows 8 system, which is what I am
trying to do. The Linux system is at my work, and its on a private
10.x.x.x network. However, they have provided a VPN client for their
employees. The client seems to work because I can use Putty to connect to
my Linux system without any problems, so the IP is visible. However, when
I try establishing a Remote desktop Connection form my WIndows 8.1 machine
at home -- it looks like it accepts the connection, and then immediately
drops it with no error message or explanation. Hope you can help.
Information I can provide:
1. /var/log/xrdp-sesman.log file
2. screenshot of aborted session login
3. link to internet article I was using:
