You mean you can't connect to port 3389 with an rdesktop client? Or do you connect and get a login screen but can't proceed from there? > 2. Reconnect issue. Can you give more details? The default settings seem to change from version to version but (IMHO) the current version does the right thing - one session per user. If you connect as a user with an existing session you will get the previous session back. If you have the default version from Ubuntu 12.04 (0.6 iirc) then you will want to get a newer version. > 4. How to monitor active sessions in xrdp? There are quite a few ways to look at this, maybe look at established sockets on port 3389 with netstat -pan and track it back to the X server process?
