Hi, I have been working on how to set up XRDP on a centos 7 machine. For some reason XRDP is not in the EPEL repo. Maybe it is a 64bit arch thing since my machine is 64 bit?
I started with the directions posted on the XRDP site here:building xrdp in Fedora 19 and 20 | | | | | | | | | building xrdp in Fedora 19 and 20Joomla! - the dynamic portal engine and content management system | | | | View on www.xrdp.org | Preview by Yahoo | | | | | This didn't work. The X11rdp build step requires the package libxml2-python. Next systemctl complain that the EnvironmentFile setting in xrdp-sesman.service points to a non-existent file. I tried copying ./instfiles/default/xrdp to /etc/sysconfig/xrdp.Next xrdp-sesman and xrdp are installed in /usr/local/sbin, but the xrdp-sesman.service and xrdp.service points to /usr/bin. So changed these things, reboot and nada. The systemctl status says xrdp starts fine after boot, but if I try to connect from a windows machine, xrdp gets shut down. I also hope you can suggest where to go next so I can get this up and running.
