Hi

For me it doesn't look like a bug.
XSLT for normal does not produce error messages.

Instead of:

# xsltproc --param value "ival" test.xslt test.xml

Use

# xsltproc --param value "'ival'" test.xslt test.xml

or

# xsltproc --stirngparam value "ival" test.xslt test.xml
