Yes! I committed it (local:// support only) in rev. 521.

opener:// is different and it doesn't depend on HTML5 support. It 
doesn't require the main form to store locally the instance and, when 
the sub-form has sent the instance back, there is no need for an action 
to be triggered in the main form.
