I usually mark a pattern if it's a really large one. Right now I am working
on an 11 x 14 rose basket and with the flowers and colors it's easy to get
lost. I will finish one section of one color and then mark it off with a
highlighter. I find it's too tedious to stitch a few stitches and run back
with the highlighter. I just stick to one color in a section at a time and
it's a little easier that way. I can always find my place, where I left
off, and what color I was working on.
