I think Lugana is my absolute favorite for most projects----but when I want to
do something that is dainty----wedding sampler---angels---I tend to use Belfast
or Irish linen---
I like the Lugana because it washes up nicely when I'm done---I tend to do very
large projects---It also doesn't show threads when you carry behind like
Belfast or Irish linens will do.
Be patient----the look is worth it!! There is also such a variety that you can
use---it's fun matching an evenweave fabric to the piece's mood or theme.....
