I have a series of Popular Mechanics little drawer units. 60 drawers
are in each unit. Inside, I just place the skeins of floss in the
appropriate numbered drawer. That way I don't need to mess around with
bobbins, and I don't have to number them, since the skein is already
still numbered. :-)
The nice thing is that these little drawer units only cost about $12
each at Wal-Mart. Since I happen to have almost all of the DMC colors
on hand, it really is an inexpensive way to store the floss.
Hugs,
Ruth Anne

elly,
I've done this when I've run out of bobbins. They work very well!!
Another suggestion for those with children... suggest that the children
buy you bobbins for gifts! They are inexpensive for the kids and make a
wonderful gift for Valentines Day, Easter, Mother's/Father's Day,
Birthdays or what ever!
