OK, even though I was one of the culprits who promoted this thread, I have to put 2 more cents in. 1) I DO recycle, so I'm not being bad by using plastic bobbins. I'm not, I'm not, I'm not <insert foot stomping>!! Very few plastic products of this ilk are made from un-recycled plastic any more. And yes, Cameo, I too keep using my same grocery bags at the store...(I had to get this in or else my fellow Washingtonians would revoke my visa!) ;-) 2) The extra strand of floss I don't presently need, I slip knot through the punched hole in the bobbin so I can tell my full stranded from my partial stranded floss at a glance. 3) I use floss bags for the specialty floss in current projects only. And I too learned how to re-twist them so they look very much like they do when hanging in the LNS. I even dangle some of them from those old-fashioned pear- shaped metal shower curtain hooks and hang them from the closet rod in my crafting room/office closet with a clear plastic bag draped over them. When I become uninspired with my XSing, I can open the closet and see all of the beautiful specialty flosses and it rejuvenates me. There, I feel better now. :-D Mary - - - Happily stitching in Seattle _______________________________________________________________ Sponsored by Beakers Graphic Designs http://www.probe.net/~beakers/ecsp.htm The Xstitch Home page at http://www.probe.net/~beakers/xshome.htm Mary Joseph - XStitch List Moderator - [EMAIL PROTECTED] Monica Sudds - XStitch List Administrator - [EMAIL PROTECTED] =============================================================== To unsubscribe TO: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Message: unsubscribe XStitch
