        Sorry for the first incomplete message. Opps!  If I am doing a piece for
someone who has an odd color for their decor, I usually stick with more
neutral colors for my background color.  I then try to accent the colors in
the room in the piece being stitched.  I took all of the blue and gray colors
used for the ribbons and the flower girl's dress and matched them dark to
light with purples. So far it looks good.  You can use teals that match your
SIL's decor this way.  And there is mauve in the flowers so you will have both
colors in the piece.  Hope this helps.
