I am new to XStitch, about four months at it avidly. My work has
changed for the better in a short period of time. I have begun to make
sure my backs look good. I am making less mistakes, my stitches all go
in the same direction, I am more patient and slower. I start in the
middle now so things come out like they are supposed to. I know what
kinds of designs I like to do and I realize some kits come with the
worst chart one could imagine.

I have finished a little kit that came with my first UK magazine. It is
a potted lavender plant that came with a 1999 diary. I put the finished
work in as directed and use the diary as my XStitch diary. I am working
on Home is Where the Cat is. I will go back to my big Rainbow project
when I finish Cat. Is it legitimate to do a happy dance for small
projects?
