Hello All!
The topics of what we are stitching, who gave us the bug that bit, and how
our stitching has changed are so intriguing. I've thoroughly enjoyed every
post. But the questions begs to be asked, "What silly mistakes did you make
when you were on "L" plates and just learning to stitch?
I for one have stitched sideways on the fabric, reversed the pattern,
tangled thread and had huge knots in my work - but by far the worst mistake
I ever made was when I inadvertantly turned a graph upside down mid-way
through a large project. ARGHH!!!
At that time I was working on a piece that only had a few shadings.. cannot
remember what it was called... and I used to do all of one colour before
finishing the next... I started with one colour which took up most of the
background - then moved on to the next (which is when I got reversed
!!!)... I never finished the piece.. just bundled it up and threw it away...
