One time I was have my purchases rung up while the owner was nearby. I told the woman that was at the register that I was a Guild member. The owner heard this and said, "Oh really? And which chapter do you belong to?" I told her and she then proceeded to say, "Well, you couldn't have been a member for long." I've been in this woman's shop countless times and have spent hundreds of dollars. I didn't appreciate being questioned like I was trying to bilk her out of the $2 discount I was eligible for. And for those optimistic people on the list, no she wasn't just questioning because she was trying to spark a conversation. She definitely thought I was lying about being a Guild member! It's a shame since she does have a very nice shop, but now I shop at a different LNS!
