I don't understand what you mean about waiting a year for a pattern?
Was it at the Sampler that you had a bad experience? They saved my
life for me at Christmas, so I find anyone having a bad experience
with them to be odd.

Er, you obviously failed to recognize LNS #1. Sorry, but a year to
get a pattern falls short of excellent service in my books. BTW, I
have a friend who still shops there, she ordered a pattern last summer
that she is still waiting for. There were a lot of other little
things, but the pattern thing was the straw.
There is the Needle Gnome in Acton, and Golden Thread in Hamilton.
There is also Silver Thimble in Oakville (though I have yet to go in
there myself).
