I like Designer Gold. I have produced some good
looking charts using it and I like the fabric simulation feature. My chart of
the month freebie is shown that way. I have version 2.01 which I understand is
now ancient so I hope the windows interface has improved some. I don't do the
BMP import stuff enough to comment on it. If you have any specific questions
about it just ask me.

Subject: XS: L&L and PC stitchware info needed!Sorry about the confusion with L&L. As you have seen from last letter it means Lavender & Lace and you have the netsite as to where to find the patterns. They are amazing! Also other good sources of patterns are Butternut and Mirabilia.
I am looking into buying a x-stitch program for the PC. I have downloaded the X-stitch Designer Gold demo package from I.L.Soft and it looks amazing! However wondered if any of you have this program and want to know how you like it. I don't want to fork out a small fortune and find I don't like it afterall. Are there any other programs to recommend? I've tried X-stitch Studio and that doesn't seem as efficient as the Gold one.
Sorry about the sigh. Connie. Didn't realise it was on all my email. Its not the dreaded 'Happy 99' worm! Cheers
