And for future reference, whenever something is an evenweave with a number
that looks rather high (28, 32, 36, etc.), dividing that number by 2 will
give you the corresponding Aida count.
Also, just because a piece calls for, say, 36 count Linen doesn't mean you
necessarily have to do it either on something 36 count or 18 count...it makes
the finished piece bigger, but you can substitute a different count of
fabric...say, 14 count. This, of course, only works if size doesn't matter.
And you do have to do a little calculation to find out how much more material
you'll need to do the piece on the larger fabric, which is not hard to do if
you have the stitch count off the pattern and remember that the 14 in 14
count means 14 stitches to the inch (I dunno what the metric people do,
though, the thought of that much math gives me a headache! <g>)
