I know that it's the same basic way with flower thread - just remove the 2 in front and the rest of the color number is the same....... Most of you probably already know this information, but it was an eye- > opener for me. For those that are new to these fibers (we all were once!), I have some additional tips on stitching with veriagated and overdyed fibers. Want to read them? If I am giving to a baby or toddler, I back it like a quilt and finish the edges like a quilt. If I am giving to some one older, it all depends again on how it is finished. If the back is really messy, I will back it. I have fringed the edges of a few, I have just hemed the edges. It also depends on how much time I have to finish it as to how it gets finished. When you fringed the afghan -- did you fringe it right up to the border edging?
