THANK YOU! I couldn't find it in any local stores, which means I never
would
have read this book if it hadn't been recommended on this list. Avid Reader

called yesterday and said my special order was in; I'd had a rough day, so
the book and I took a long bubble bath last night, and I enjoyed it
immensely.

The author mentioned that she subscribed to RCTN. Does anyone have an
e-mail
address for her so I can contact her directly?

I've got a form letter that will talk about blending filament and give some
good suggestions on how to work with this. Send me a private e-mail with the

following information:

To: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Subject: METALLICS, BLENDING FILAMENTS & RAYON

Please send each request in a SEPARATE e-mail and make sure the subject line

is in ALL CAPS. It helps me to process this mail much more quickly. Also,
only private mail will be honored; I do not respond to requests posted to
the
list.

Congrats. Isn't it great to treat yourself? Both with the divorce,
and now post-divorce S.E.X.

I'm still working on Heart in Hand "Amish Rules" but only have the border to

do then I want to do the horse and buggy that is on the back side of the
folder. This has gone really fast since a lot of it is words.
Yesterday, in Medina, Ohio, the sun was shining bright, a little cool, so I
put on a thin flannel shirt and sat out on our deck to do cross stitch.
Little did I know that I was getting sun burned. My face, top of my head
and
hands were a nice pink color. We don't normally get sun this early. But
it's
not long lived. Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday we have rain coming
and a chance of snow. Oh, well. I'll just stay inside and cross stitch.
Blessings

I have very diligently sent out all my floss for March
and April but I have never noticed anyone posting
that they have received their floss...well, that's not
quite true, one person did thank me.

Just curious.

Second of a triplet. "Nantucket" from the "Cats, Baskets, and Quilts"

I finished the first one, "Amish" last year, and will probably do the
final one next year. Considering each piece is only 6" square, they
have about 70 colours. The baskets are killers, about 8-10 colours of
tan/brown, isolated stitches.

This weekend, I'll put it down to do my RR piece.

I looked in NN, but didn't see it listed. I got mine from my LNS, but
I'd bet NN does have it. It's a Zweigart fabric.

I would to start Tapestry Sampler. It is stitched on linen and for me it is
the first time.
What it the first thing to do when you cross-stitch on linen?
It is a big project but it is so beautiful.
Is there someone that can give me some advice, that has already made this
design?
I wait for you advice.

Hi Tara

I started this about 3 years ago. Stitched the Siamese cat for my Aunt's
birthday, started the one with the balls of wool in the basket, and frogged
it so many times I got sick of the sight of it!

Needless to say, the rest of the series has been in my UFO box ever since!
lol

I may get it back out again if you shame me into it <g>

OK, here is a nice little question to make everyone stand up and start
posting again.
Do you have a millennium project? Something really great that you always
left in the bottom of your list and that finally you want to do for the
year 2000?
Or maybe a terrible UFO that finally gets taken out of the work box?

Mine is the famous Noah's ark that I started for Xmas, two years ago, and
it's still half way done. I'm searching for the courage to get my needle
and start stitching. Please, send some ambitious projects for the new
millennium so I'll feel better!

Sorry for late posting, but I still can't find the right web address.
Do you mean a list of DMC organized by the colour name? Or is it something
totally different?
