I've got to say I've been wondering this myself. After a bit of
research, I'd say -- Time, Money and an ability to deal with
complaints without going crazy.
I've really enjoyed this list over the past two years and I'll be
sorry to see it go. Monica and Mary really did an excellent job and
all the little extras -- links page, Who/Where List, Birthday Floss
Clubs, Int'l Needle Pals, etc. made it all the more special.
I've subscribed to various lists on www.onelist.com , receive a few
messages and then after a few days -- nothing. When I get around to
checking my status it says I've had an e-mail bounce and have to reset
my mail to Normal. This is SO annoying. Of course, I haven't
bothered sending an e-mail to find out why this keeps happening. This
list has been so well maintained it just keeps ticking along and I can
keep up with what everyone is doing without even thinking about it.
There is another list I subscribe to: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
It is not strictly cross stitch but covers all forms of needlework.
It's actually a pretty quiet list but like [EMAIL PROTECTED] it
just keeps on ticking. To subscribe send an e-mail to
[EMAIL PROTECTED] and put in the BODY of the message
subscribe needlework OR subscribe needlework-digest
Maybe we could all just move over there?
