 Minnie, I agree with you.  Life is too short.  We work to hard to not treat
 ourselves.
 
 But I can also understand, that depending upon the project, there are some
 cases inwhich no one (including myself) would be able to tell the difference
 as to whether regular floss or overdyed was used.  I use regular floss in
 those instances.
 
 Working with the overdye isn't like working with silk, there is no other
 pleasure for me with the overdyed floss other than the colorful affect so I
 save the expense for the projects that will show it off.

Of course I understand that.  But I know that most overdyeds are several 
colors on one strand and sometimes this does effect the piece.  If I don't 
want to use the Weeks Dye Works I then try to change to Watercolors or 
something similar.
