Amen!!
But to be honest, this was the first time I've contributed to the
"what I'm stitching" thread, and got valuable insight into the piece
I'm doing. One of the reason's I don't usually contribute to this
type of thread is I'm frequently doing self-designed pieces. Not
anything anyone else could have even seen.
My favourite threads are those that give tonnes of ideas to do with
finished stitching (besides pillows and pictures).
Another is the "I'm looking for XXX type of pattern". It can be fun
to see the patterns that others choose. There are so many patterns
out there, to simply browse my LNS is total overload. But to look at
a few patterns a day is so much more relaxing.
I have also garnered some rare patterns from fellow list members
(Thanks Cindy and Dee), through trades and such.
