I hope this gets sent before the list goes away completely....

I'm very glad to announce to all of my stitching friends that I am
engaged!!! My fiance and I met in St. Louis (he lives in Oklahoma, I live in
North Carolina) and flew up to see his family in Minnesota last weekend. I
enjoyed meeting his family, and getting to know them. His mom and sister
love cross-stitching and other crafts, although they don't actually stitch
or quilt themselves. The best part of the trip was Monday afternoon, (May 3)
when we were engaged. :-) We went ring-shopping there in Minnesota, and
found just the perfect rings. We had to return to our respective homes on
Tuesday, but it won't be long until we'll be together forever.

We haven't set the date yet, but we're planning an October or November
wedding - it all depends on my pastor's schedule, and the availability of my
church. Mom has promised to stitch a wedding sampler or picture for us - but
with her record of stitching times, she should finish it by our 10th
anniversary..... <loving, teasing grin>

I've learned a lot through this list, and hope to keep in touch somewhere
else. Thank you to everyone who has offered advice and encouragement! My
stitching will never be the same because of the things I've learned here.

Elizabeth Joyner (to be Mrs. Dale Lieser later this year!)
