Hi all,

I am wondering if you have more details on the release date on XText
1.0.2. I need this info for my product release.

Eclipse 3.6.2 is scheduled to release on Feb 25, is it safe to assume that
XText 1.0.2 will be released on the same date as previously discussed?

Thanks for all the help.
Samantha

Dennis just managed to get the build working.
The nightlies are available from this update site :

Thank you Sven,

Can you please let me know when the nightlies for 1.0.2 stream becomes
available? We would like to start running tests with the early drivers as
soon as possible.

Thanks once again!
Samantha

Hi all,

I am working on a product that is going to be based on XText 1.0.2.

I have some questions regarding the XText 1.0.2 release:
1) In this service release, do you expect to make any big changes into
the code base? Or are you just fixing bugs reported by the community?

It will contain bug fixes only and will be a drop-in replacement (i.e.
binary compatible).

2) I assume that this release will maintain API compatibility with the
XText 1.0.1 release, correct?

Yes.

3) When is the planned release date for XText 1.0.2? I asked this
question previously, and I was told that it will most likely go out with
Eclipse 3.6.2, which is scheduled to be released around Feb 25, 2011. Is
this a fair assumption?

Yes, at least. Probably we will release it earlier.

4) Finally, I need to get an early driver for testing and migration. Is
it possible to get a development driver for testing by early January?
(e.g. week of January 4, 2011?)

We'll have nightlies of the 1.0.2 stream soon.
If that is sufficient the answer to your question is yes. :-)

Regards,
