Sure. The Goal of DVC in the long term is to absorb the other ones as
much as possible. Xtla has worked like this (it's a merge of like 4 or
5 interfaces to tla).

DVC has already prooved the ability to write a backend with nice
features in around 500 lines of code. So, writting independant
backends is a loss of time for the developers, and not better for the
users because they get different user-interfaces where is could be a
bit unified.

OTOH, we should not advertize too much for DVC before it starts to be
interesting for users. But at least a link on the wiki and a message
to authors of other Emacs interfaces is a good thing.
