Can you do 2 things to help us ?
1) M-x set-variable RET debug-on-error RET t RET
and reproduce the error. It should give you a backtrace that you can post
here.
2) Reproduce the error. M-x baz-open-internal-log-buffer RET
put your cursor on the item describing the command that failed, and press 'o'
to open the corresponding output buffer. See if something strange appears
there, post the content here if it's not too big.
