Not very surprising unfortunately. AFAIK, Xtla has not been tested on
Windows at all. Patches to solve windows-related problems are welcome,
but I won't take time to do it myself. I have very few time to spend
for Xtla and free software currently, and my priority is to support
bzr.

BTW, with bzr, you should have a native Windows support, so DVC-bzr
(DVC will be the successor of Xtla, with support for several
distributed/decentralized revision control systems), you should have
less problems (but DVC-bzr doesn't really exist for now).
