The test suite temporarily sets the value of the HOME environment
variable while it does its thing, but this is stopping the tests
from running correctly under CVS Emacs. Essentially, doing this
stops paths like "~/tmp/arch-test" from being expanded correctly,
as ~ is replaced with whatever HOME is set to.
I guess we'll need to find a different method than setting the
home directory like this. I haven't got a chance to look into
this right now, unfortunately.
Another minor thing: there was a mismatched paren stopping
xtla-tests.el from loading correctly. This is fixed in the 0.9
version of my Xtla branch
