------------------ Additional Follow-up Comments ----------------------------
I think it would be very hard to get a better interface in xtla without support
from tla itself. We can't easily guess from the name of the revision wether the
error will occur, since tags have the same name, and are accepted by tla
get-changeset. So, we would need to parse the output of tla.

As the user gets the error message from tla, I think xtla does its job.
Improvements should be made on the tla side.

Close the bug if you agree.

Category: xtla.el
Priority: 5 - Normal
Resolution: None
Assigned to: None
Originator Email: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Status: Open
Planned Release: 0.9
Type of request: small bug
Fixed Release:
Test case: Type = on an base-0 revision which is an initial import.

Summary: Viewing an change set for an base-0 revision which is an initial
import causes an error

Original Submission: Tla complains about failing to open the
*--base-0.patches.tar.gz, is this actual an tla bug.

IMHO it should fail more gracefully, i.e. say

"there is nothing like a changeset for initial imports"

or better show me the list of impoerted files, etc.
