So you actually use it to delete another file by changing
the name, i.e. you do not delete the file under the cursor?  
Could you give me an example when you use it this way?

AFAIK I filed this bug, as I expected a message like
A file1
A file2
...

Hmm, its not a xtla problem, its tla which confused me ...
