------------------ Additional Follow-up Comments ----------------------------
[EMAIL PROTECTED] solves this.

Functions in `tla-commit-check-log-buffer-functions' are executed before trying
to commit. It currently checks that headers are non-empty, and that the last
header is followed by a empty line.

As an exception, headers matching `tla-commit-headers-allowed-to-be-empty' are
allowed to be empty.

Summary: tla-log-edit-done should be more defensive about empty headers

Original Submission: When typing C-c C-c in the commit log buffer, there
should be numbers of tests (like when gnus sends a mail), including testing for
empty headers.

There should be a variable containing a list of headers allowed to be empty
(for example, the "Keywords:" field is often commited empty.)

If the spec is specified, I will work on this.
