Hi ! My last patch is a first step towards a multiple process management. A new buffer is created for each new process, and the buffers are killed after a while.
Please merge, (merging this patch separately is probably a good idea), and _review the patch_. It's syntactically small, but is a rather deep change that potentially can break everything ! Read also the last item of the HACKING file. Next step is to drop the mutual exclusion code and see what happens. I'll do that within a few days. Last step is to fix what the previous step will have broken ;-) -- Matthieu
