An alternative is posted here: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1859290&p=11340340#post11340340 But since this bug has existed since at least Oneirtic I'm more concerned about actually getting it fixed than I am about documenting a work-around :^) Since skipping a Saucy release would be problematic I think we should use it as a bug-fix release and then we can hit 14.04 with our full force.
