** Description changed: the intel driver in system-comp-testing PPA is revisoin 5870, head https://code.launchpad.net/~mir-team/mir/xf86-video-intel-vladmir is - 6081 - which is obviously feeding daily-build-next. + 6081 which has been manually copied into daily-build-next. system-comp-testing PPA is revisoin 5870 works without issue however, the current daily-build-next build based on vladmir head currently does not boot with hw acceleration & flickers.
