In Xubuntu Saucy 13.10 it is impossible to package and/or compile thunar-shares-plugin due to the missing package of libthunar-vfs-1-dev in the repos. I've build it correctly in precise/raring, with this guide: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=2139150
