AFAIK it is alreday registered by canonical ;)
When we get something worthy of publishing we will ask them to let us
use the domain.

Yes, Canonical have it. There's nothing on it as yet.
Would it be worth setting up a brief outline and wiki right now? Do you
want me to make enquiries directly to Canonical about getting things
sorted out?
