Jurjen i would be happy to help you here .. the point here is that gnome-app-install doesn't install just gnome apps ... but kde and more .. it uses desktop files .. so there are two possibilities: 1) clean of gnome deps gnome-app-install 2) hack gnome-app-install in a way that will show just xubuntu and xfce pkges. if we want to point users to xfce pkges we should implement the 2) .. if we want an app-install that could work even in xubuntu we should just ask to mvo if he's fine with cleaning it of the gnome deps ... what would u expect from such app ? -- ---- http://dsslive.org ---- -- xubuntu-devel mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/xubuntu-devel
