To a large extent, same here! (but that you already know ;) ) You'll be happy to know that Jani is working on getting the Ubuntu LTSP on the Xubuntu CD as well, so that there'll be a Xubuntu LTSP installation option on the CD. > It says :- > © 2006 Canonical. It's of course, completely up to the user how they want to waste their memory. If they want to install a KDE or GNOME app from universe, why not? The Xubuntu policy though is to include only GTK2 applications as far as possible. I don't think Xubuntu currently has any GNOME or KDE apps shipped with it. > Is there a table that lists, by application area, what app is used by > Xubuntu / Kubuntu / Ubuntu / Edubuntu ? That sounds like a fantastic idea. I'm surprised it hasn't come up yet. > Will xubuntu-desktop make it onto the single CD release ? Single Ubuntu release? No, that CD is too full. Xubuntu is getting it's own iso though. Not sure if that answers your question though :) -Jonathan -- xubuntu-devel mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/xubuntu-devel
