yes, it looks like a problem with some compiz leftover. I have renamed
the .config and the bug is gone. Is it possible to remove stuff related
to xfwm4 only and leave all other configurations untouched? It's a drag
to configure the panels and plugins again...
~/.config/xfce4/xfwm4 but I am pretty sure it's not xfce configs that are in need of removal.
